"Irreversible Regret" Chlorocebus pygerythrus, Vervet monkey

Hand sculpted wax model modeled from a smoked vervet monkey skull. Created using the lost wax process and cast with lead crystal. I wanted to express the primal nature in us all that influences our decisions in life. With the mischievous nature of primates and the memento mori use of the skull, this piece speaks on the seriousness of those choices and decisions.
