Homo Sapien "Manus and Cardiovascular System in Isolation" Ben Smith

My work has long been influenced by the body and its systems. I find the natural workings to be so beautifully simple, delicate, and interesting on the surface and when you look closer to reveal a intricate system that can come crumbling down with a tiny imperfection. This is why glass is such a great medium to help demonstrate this idea as well. I have always been a visual learner and learn by seeing directly how and why things work. This work is to show how wonderful the bones, blood, and arteries work in isolation.
