Geoduck

Geoduck, Zoology
Geoduck
The Geoduck is a fascinating animal. A mollusk, it is the largest burrowing clam in the world. The Geoduck gets it name from the Coast Salish Native American language, meaning "dig deep". Living to be 160 years old, they can only be found in the Puget Sound, my home.
I use solid hot glass sculpting in my work and tend to lean toward transparent colors.
