"Sea Treasure" is a kiln glass work made with the technique called Pâte de verre or paste of glass. The snail shell and the sphere or bubble, are only one piece, it is not simply put one inside the other.
while I walk by the seashore, I hope to find some kind of treasure, one of those that the ocean leaves carelessly, a way of telling its inside beauty. I have always loved the oceans and are my inevitable inspiration. For me is very important to show its beauty, and to invite people to be concious that without water, there is no life, no blue, no green.
The name of the nail represented is Triplofusus giganteus, previously known as Pleuroploca gigantea, its common name is horse conch (trompeta maya).
