The beauty of life is that even though there is only a physically vertebrate left, there is still a lot of imagination that we can have for that specific animal. The soul is still in those bones, that is why we want to discover what that animal is. This is a kiln casting piece. Using the lead crystal for the seal vertebrate, and Spectrum 96 for the clam. I am trying to bring the feeling of life back into this seal vertebrate. Scientific name Phocidae ; Latin: pinna fin and pes, pedis foot. Common name known as seal.
