Blooming Sleep, with Turkey Tail (Trametes Versicolor)

The hole piece is made of glass using the method of pate de verre. The turkey tail fungi is cold fused to the bust. I live in a highly wooded area and often go into the woods and sometimes find objects lost in the woods. I have a fascination with how the woods "swallows" and reincorporates these objects. This piece is inspired by these sights.
