Flameworked yellow/blue dichro butterflies; cast resin wood; coldworked mounting

By etching the reverse side of the dichro wings, we are able to achieve crisp black delineation of the image, while using intense white on the front of the wings allows crisp flameworked detail. The yellow/blue dichro, when presented with a dark contrasting background, reads very much like the actual blue morpho.
