Pomegranate Plate (punica granatum)

This piece was created at Pilchuck in a class with Cappy Thompson, Dick Weiss, and Walt Lieberman. The technique is vitreous enamels painted on a Pyrex plate and kiln fired. My interest in botanical drawings later evolved into my artwork in glass fusing.
