Hope Springs Eternal

“Hope Springs Eternal” is the first of my new series of inside out cast lead crystal glass. It is inspired by our global climate crisis. Raising awareness and encouraging gratitude for our wonderful planet is much needed at this time. As an artist I feel that is part of my responsibility in giving back. I travel around the world from Southeast Asia to Africa and the Poles and see firsthand what is happening to our environment. I do have hope that we can be more aware as we try and remedy some of the problems. I bring back fauna, flowers and pods from my adventures abroad and cast them into my sculptures. I am taking nature from everywhere and blending it all together into one piece of hope, solidarity and joy.
