Maine Lobster

This is a model of a Maine Lobster or homarus americanus. It is made from Flameworked Borosilicate glass. I have made lobsters in the past but they have been an amalgamation of various different species of lobsters with some anthropomorphization thrown in for character. I thought it would be fun as well as educational to make one that was more true to form and I chose the Maine lobster because I like the big claws.
